Loving Myself Fat
by
KJ Hannah Greenberg

Children scamper dancing tunes,
Spirals, waves, phasing moons.
I’m loving myself fat.
Mommy’s nurslings wrestle love,
Heart’s attachments, wisdom’s cove.
I’m loving myself fat.
Wee friends ring hope’s embrace,
Sacred sharing, snuggly place.
I’m loving myself fat.
Such sedum heads homage crones’ Earth,
Spill curved seeds, hearten birth.
I’m loving myself fat.
Some garden members wax and wane
Ancient rhythms’ older plan.
I’m loving myself fat.
Sweet mamas’ mantra; simple, strong,
Messy passage made as song.
I’m loving myself fat.
